Mazzy's 10th Birthday!

I still can not believe I have a 10 year old!  Where did the time go, seriously??!!  Our sweet little Mazzy face turned 10 on September 6, 2012.  We had a little celebration for her up camping over Labor Day and then celebrated with family and friends during the week.  Can't believe how fast she is growing up!  She is such a fun spirited little girl!  Constant laughs with her around.  She is always so quick to help and lend a hand to everyone around her.  I love that about her.  She is so friendly and kind to everyone.  She brings our home and us such happiness, don't know how we got so lucky!  She's one in a million!!!

Our kids birthdays always come with 2 cakes and homeade ice cream, YUM!!!

The birthday girl with her great grandpa Dee and great grandma Kathleen.  Such a lucky girl to know these 2 wonderful people.

August 2012

We did some fun things in August.  It was filled with more camping, Rocky Mountain Raceway Drag races, chicken pox, the Summit County rodeo and boating with all of Ry's fam...the Jones clan!  It too, was a fun filled month....minus the chicken pox!  Also Ryan got a new job at ARUP laboratories and we couldn't be happier!!!  So exciting to be employed again!

Fun in the sun!  The kids playing in their pool.

Rodeo time!  Our cute friend Des came with us!  It was a good time!

Boating at East Canyon with the Jones clan!  The cousins have such a GREAT time together.  I love this picture of all the kids playing in the mud hole.
More camping and more good times!!!

 Kado, our little maid.
Nitro's at Rocky Mountain Raceway!  Couldn't get enough of that roaring that vibrates your whole body!  So cool!!!

Maz and Brons both got chickenpox at the same time!  Here is Maz's poor head...OUCH!

Bronson's 8th Birthday and baptism!

July 21st Brons turned 8 years old!  We had a wonderful birthday party for him with family and a few friends.  I can't believe my baby is 8!  On August 4, 2012 he was also baptized.  We talked a lot about what this meant.  It was a beautiful day, with so many WONDERFUL family and friends who came to support him on his special day!  He put together his own program for it.  He had his Grandma Nae give a talk about Baptism and the Holy Ghost.  His sister Mazzy sang "As a Child of God" while I accompanied her.  She did such an amazing job and sang with such confidence, we were so proud of her.  Then I sang a song "I Will" while my sister Misty, accompanied me and sang harmony.  His Grandpa Thayne and Papa Ray gave the opening and closing prayers.  It was short and sweet, but so beautiful!  My wonderful friend Megan, who is a photographer, took pictures for us throughout this day.  It is such a beautiful reminder of what an incredible day this was for Bronson.  We are so blessed to call each of you family and friend!  We couldn't be prouder of our son!  What an incredible spirit and personality he has!  Our home is always full of laughter, jokes, teasing, cuddles, loves, hugs, goofy noises, goofiness and joy with this little boy!  I'm so glad he chose us as his parents!  My heart is so full!!!

 My batman birthday boy!!!
 Getting ready to be baptized!
This was right after he was baptized.

I love this picture.  So many important people in our boy's life!  We are just missing the picture with his great grandparents...which I have, it's just not added into this photo collage.
These are the paintings my parents got Brons for his room.  He picked them out.
These photos are his baptism pictures that we took up at the Bountiful Temple.  These are just some of my faves.  Love this boy!!!

July 2012

July was pretty busy for us.  We did a lot of camping with my parents, celebrated the 4th of July, Bronson had his 8th birthday and got to go to his first scout camp, celebrated the 24th with a fun party in the park up in Morgan where the kids got to dance to a live band, ride horses, have homeade root beer and I got to see and visit with people I grew up with and haven't seen in forever.  Just your typical small town get together.  It was a pretty fun and eventful month.

The 4th of July celebration at Eaglewood Golf Course.  A yearly tradition.  The kids always have so much fun on the rides and dancing to the live band.

The kids got glowing swords, which was the coolest thing EVER!

We always have such a great time doing this!  It was even better this time because one of my bestest friends, Rachael, moved back to Utah and got to celebrate with us!
Bronson after scout camp!  He cam home FILTHY and HAPPY!  He had such a good time.
Maz fixing Grandpa Thayne's hair camping at Hardsgrabble.
 Beautiful view!
We made the kids a swing at the campground.
The kids have a club house up on the hillside and took Grandma Shell up to see it.  This is her infamous fall trying to come down!  Still makes me laugh so hard to look at this picture!
