Mazzy's Baptism!

On September 25, 2010 our little Mazryn Ansta Jones chose to be baptized. It was a BEAUTIFUL day. She carefully helped plan her entire program for the baptism. She chose all of the songs to be sung, the speakers, who said the prayers, the special musical numbers by Aunt Misty. I was supposed to sing, but had lost my voice, so THANK heavens for Aunt Misty. She was surrounded by family and friends who loves her and supports her, it was overwhelming to me how much love and happiness was in that room! Her daddy got to baptize her, and then her daddy got to confirm her and give her the gift of the Holy Ghost. She has carefully prepared herself for this day. We have made sure she knows and completely understands the promises she has made in getting baptized and becoming a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Mazzy is such a sweet and amazing little girl. There was quite a few tears shed by Ryan and myself as this special day unfurled. I feel so lucky and blessed to have this sweet little girl in my life!
Afterwards, we had a fun little luncheon for everyone and just enjoyed visiting with everyone. Thanks to everyone who came and to those of you who helped with the food! We LOVE and appreciate all of you SOOOO MUCH!!! It is such a blessing to know how many people love and support us and our kids! And to Mazzy, I love you so much sweetheart! I am so proud of you and the person you are!
These pics didn't turn out so well with us, but they are the only one's we got and I wanted them with this post for journaling reasons.

(Below: Mazzy with Grandma Shell, Grandpa Thayne, Great Grandma Kathleen and Great Grandpa Dee, and Ryan and me, of course.)
We decided to do little invitations for the family and I wanted some pretty pictures of Mazzy in her beautiful baptism dress that her and Grandma Shell picked out together, so we took her up to the Bountiful temple and took some pictures. Here are some of my faves, I know it's alot, but she's my beautiful little girl!

Mazzy's 8!

I can not believe it! My little Mazzy Face turned 8 years old on September 6th! We had a great family birthday party for her. She wanted a sand castle cake, so I attempted to make one, I don't think it turned out to shabby. Grandma Shell brought a princess one, just to make sure we had enough cake for everyone. We made homeade raspberry ice cream and homeade peach ice cream, YUM!!! Thanks to everyone who came to celebrate her VERY special day! Ryan was supposed to take pictures of the evening, but instead videoed all of it, so I am just putting on one of the videos of Maz opening her presents, just for fun.

Last Camping Trip for the Summer.

Here are all the pictures from our camping trip to Hardsgrabble. It's the only trip up there that Ryan got to go with us. It was just us and my parents. We had such a good time, even for the super cold nights. Like I've said before, I LOVE it up there and just enjoy all the beauty of it!

I love this picture of us together, even though we are camping and not all dolled up.
Mazzy posing ever so cutely.
The kids with Grandpa and Grandma at the falls.
This is one of my new most favorite pictures of my Dad, isn't he the cutest?
The falls up Shingle Mill canyon.

We celebrated Mazzy's "real" birthday up there. We had a family party after we got home but that is for another post.
Ryan videoed the falls, I think it still doesn't capture the beauty of it, but it still is pretty.

1st Day at School & Kneeboarding & Where's Waldo.

So I finally have the rest of my pictures so that I can update my blog yet another 100 times in a row. Prepare for many posts following this one. Anyhoo, here is a couple of pictures of Brons on his 1st day of school and a couple of videos of our VERY windy, cold, last trip to Bear Lake with Ry's fam. The video's are of Mazzy and Bronson kneeboarding behind the jeep, because it was WAY to windy to take the boat out.

Also the pictures of me are for our Young Women and Young Men combined activity..."Where's Waldo." The point of it is to dress up and not look like yourself so that the kids can walk around and try and find you. We always do it at the Gateway Mall, which is really fun. I did this last year as some of you might remember, I was a totally awesome Goth person. This year they asked me like 2 days beforehand so I didn't have much preparation time. So a blond girl was the best I could come up with. I fooled some, but not too many.
