Well, Bronson had his tonsils out on Tuesday the 24th. Everything went very well. He has been such a good little boy through this entire ordeal! All of the nurses kept telling me what a GREAT little boy he was, he never cried but once. He only cried when they first took him from us. He clung to Ryan's neck just yelling "I don't want to go!" It broke my heart and of course made me cry too, but the anastesiologist that took him back said he was fine once he got him to the O.R. He let him help start up the machine and hold his mask, so of course Brons thought that was cool.
Other than that little moment, he did so well. He drank when the nurses told him, and then just slept the majority of the time in recovery. When he woke up the first time he looked at the nurse and asked her "Do you have games?" And went right back to sleep. He meant video games. We told him that when he got out of surgery and we went home, he could play video games. (Anyone that knows Brons, knows that he is obsessed with video games.) I thought it was really funny.
He is home and is doing really well. Still very pale and sore, but doesn't complain much. He doesn't have much of an appetite and has even turned down ice cream on multiple occasions, but he is on the mend. I am so proud of him and how brave he is! He's a tough little bugger, that's for sure! Glad surgery is over, now if we can just make it through the next couple of weeks and mood swings we'll be sittin' pretty!

Brons bit his lip coming out of anasetic and it started to swell. Both corners of his mouth are split too from having to open his mouth so wide during surgery. Ouch!! (A little loopy from meds and everything, too)
One of the times he woke up, Ryan asked him if he wanted to play a game on his phone. Brons was half asleep and his eyes opened wide and he said "What?" "A Game?" So he played for about 2 min. and passed right back out. And yes he was really that pale!
This was when we first got back to the recovery room with him. He looked so tiny and fragile in that bid bed!
