Rainy Days Swimming Lessons

It has been rough swimming lessons! Almost everyday the kids have had to swim in the rain and cold! Luckily, Sondra (the lady who owns the pool) serves the kids hot chocolate as soon as they come out of the water! What service!!!!

Mazzy is doing so well with swimming lessons this year. She is swimming the whole length of the pool with her front crawl and jumping off the diving board and swimming all the way to the shallow end! I am so proud of her!

Car Parade

Every year Bountiful has this cool car show. This year we found out that they always do a car parade the night before and they also do burnouts!! We LOVE loud cars, so we packed the kids up and went down to Main Street. We had a riot! Ryan will not be happy, he wants me to post all the pics he took, of ALL the cars, but this is all I am posting for now! It was tons of fun though!Bronson was SOOO excited to see the new camaro like Bumblebee!!!

Air Show Part 2.

We had so much fun watching all of these planes and the pilots do all of their tricks! But of course, the most awesome part is the Tunderbirds! I have such a respect for these brave men and women who fly these and protect our country. It always leaves me a little in aw! These are two Thunderbirds passing each other INSANELY fast!

When all 6 take off, 4 stick around and do stunts, then mid way through, when you forget about the others, they fly in from behind the crowd and scare the you know what out of you!!! This is towards the end of their show, when all 6 come together and fly.
I know this picture is UG, but what do you get when you mix Hailey, water and shasta black cherry pop? You got it, a Hailey Moment 101! I was holding both drinks in one hand and took the lid off my water to take a drink and couldn't figure out why something was pouring down the front of me, well it couldn't have been the open shasta in the same hand, could it? Yup, it was! I had to go to dinner looking like this! It was all down my leg too! My feet were WAY sticky!

Air Show Part 1.

We went to the Hill Air Force Base Air Show this past weekend and had a BLAST! The kids loved it! We got to go with my family and our friends the Hammerstroms!
This is a cool picture of the different generations of planes that have fought in different wars.
And this is our favorite the P51 Mustang!
These were the two Bi Planes crossing, you need to click on this picture to see them both. It looks like one plane, but there are two! Ryan took this AWESOME picture!

311 and Ziggy Marley!

Oh my goodness! I have missed them for the past 3 years and I am finally going to see 311 in concert! But the best part of this is that Ziggy Marley is going to be performing also! I am a huge fan of Bob Marley, Stephen Marley and Ziggy Marley! I have been trying to get Ryan to go with me for quite a while now, but he doesn't like them. Luckily my Uncle Shadd and his wife Kendall wanted to go with me! So on June 11th I'll have my camera and take lots of pictures of this momentous occasion in my life! I can not wait!!!!!!

Drive In Movie Night!

It's been a little bit since I've updated my blog. I have to say our Memorial Day weekend was wonderful, despite the crappy weather. We were able to go up to Morgan and decorate all the great grandparents and grandparents graves. Then we hung out with my Uncle Shadd and his fun family. They spent the weekend with us and on Monday we went mini golfing and then had a great BBQ with Brett and Jaycee and their kids!

This past weekend we went to see Up at the Drive In movies. (Very cute movie by the way). We went with our GREAT friends the Hammerstroms! We had a blast and the kids were full of sugar and energy and excitement!

Here is Gage, Khloe, Mazzy and Bronson in ALL their glory! Waiting ever so patiently for the movie to start!Ry took this picture of Jaycee (Jett is the cute baby on her lap) and me because no one ever takes our pictures. The kids are goofing off behind us.

And need I say more? Here is Ryan and Brett being their gross selves!

Playing in this WARM weather!

I have to say first, my Mother's Day was EXCELLENT this year. I felt very loved by my husband and kids, they spoiled me with dinner at Robintino's the night before, breakfast in bed, and a shopping spree for new summer clothes. Happy belated Mother's Day to all you Momma's out there!!!

We have been waiting so long for warm weather to break out the blow up water slide! Yesterday deemed itself HOT, so what better way to cool off the kids?? Out came the water slide and the kids' very good friends Khloe, Gage and Jett! It is always very entertaining to watch the kids play on this, it'll definitely make you smile and laugh! Good times!

We also went and played a crazy game of miniature golf out at Boondocks.

Here is Mazzy at her first piano recital. She was very nervous to play in front of all the people there, but she played her pieces perfectly! I was so proud of her and all of her hard work to learn and memorize her songs! I have a video of her playing but I don't know how to get them off the camera, so be on the lookout for it.

Zoo Field Trip!

Mazzy had her first bus ride and field trip to the zoo. She was up an hour earlier than normal and ready to go! I signed up to be one of the helpers and took a group of 5 little girls, Maz included. We were the pink group! It was actually way fun, but that is because I had the easiest kids to deal with! The other mom's were jealous of my group, because they actually listened. Oh well, I was happy!

My group were little worry worts and didn't want to get lost, so they clung to me the entire time. On the bus if anyone turned around or stood up, my girls would tell them "sit down, it's for your safety" it was hilarious! I heard this over and over....it's for your safety!

This is Mazzy not knowing what to think when the bus started up!

I Love May Flowers!

I think my all time favorite smelling flower is a lilac! They are so beautiful! These are our "sensation lilacs" that are blooming in our backyard. Great pictures Ry!
I am so glad for this warm, beautiful weather we have been having! It's about time! Although it has been nothing but yard work the past couple of weeks, it seems! I'll take it anyway!

Weekend Fun!

This weekend we had the opportunity to go and listen to Ryan's brother Jason's band "Mimic"! (Jason is the drummer) They were AWESOME!!!! They were playing at Real Stadium, in the pouring rain! Even though the conditions were VERY wet and the kids were SOAKED, we had a great time!

I am very excited to say that I might get to be a guest singer with this band sometime in the near future! I will keep everyone posted. But even if I don't get to sing with them, everyone should go and hear them, they are worth it! Good times! I will let you all know the next gig they have.

The Jones Fam!

This past week we have spent a lot of time with Ryan's family. Our sweet little niece Cassie, was baptized last Friday and we were lucky enough to be apart of her special day! She is a special little girl. She has Prader-Wili Syndrome. She was out in the parking lot greeting EVERYONE with a hug on her baptizm day. We love our Cassie!

Mazzy, Cassie and BronsonThis is Ryan's sister Andi, she was picked out of the lottery to participate in the Hawaii Iron Man! We are super excited for her! Go Andi!

Our sister in law Sarah and little baby Sam!

This is Ryan's brother Greg, he is Cassie's dad.

Bronson, Collin, Mazzy and Luci, snuggled in to watch a movie at Uncle Jason and Aunt Sarah's house! (Jason is Ryan's brother)

We always have such a good time with Ry's family! We love them all so much! I have other pictures of the rest of the fam, but they are not flattering, they might get a little mad at me for posting them, so I will be nice this time until I get better pictures.

Wacky Wednesday!!!

It was Wacky Wednesday at school this week! Mazzy picked out her outfit, she wanted to be the wackiest in her class. And Daddy helped her with her "wacky" hairdo! What a little girl! I just had to put these pictures on my blog! For those of you who do not know, Ryan is growing his hair out to donate to locks of love! (I know!) So I needed some practice dutch braiding and this is what I came up with. Isn't he adorable? Little did I know, he wouldn't let me take them out when I was done and he even went to the store! Of course I didn't go with him!
