Zoo Field Trip!

Mazzy had her first bus ride and field trip to the zoo. She was up an hour earlier than normal and ready to go! I signed up to be one of the helpers and took a group of 5 little girls, Maz included. We were the pink group! It was actually way fun, but that is because I had the easiest kids to deal with! The other mom's were jealous of my group, because they actually listened. Oh well, I was happy!

My group were little worry worts and didn't want to get lost, so they clung to me the entire time. On the bus if anyone turned around or stood up, my girls would tell them "sit down, it's for your safety" it was hilarious! I heard this over and over....it's for your safety!

I Love May Flowers!

I think my all time favorite smelling flower is a lilac! They are so beautiful! These are our "sensation lilacs" that are blooming in our backyard. Great pictures Ry!

I am so glad for this warm, beautiful weather we have been having! It's about time! Although it has been nothing but yard work the past couple of weeks, it seems! I'll take it anyway!

Weekend Fun!

This weekend we had the opportunity to go and listen to Ryan's brother Jason's band "Mimic"! (Jason is the drummer) They were AWESOME!!!! They were playing at Real Stadium, in the pouring rain! Even though the conditions were VERY wet and the kids were SOAKED, we had a great time!

I am very excited to say that I might get to be a guest singer with this band sometime in the near future! I will keep everyone posted. But even if I don't get to sing with them, everyone should go and hear them, they are worth it! Good times! I will let you all know the next gig they have.

The Jones Fam!

This past week we have spent a lot of time with Ryan's family. Our sweet little niece Cassie, was baptized last Friday and we were lucky enough to be apart of her special day! She is a special little girl. She has Prader-Wili Syndrome. She was out in the parking lot greeting EVERYONE with a hug on her baptizm day. We love our Cassie!

We always have such a good time with Ry's family! We love them all so much! I have other pictures of the rest of the fam, but they are not flattering, they might get a little mad at me for posting them, so I will be nice this time until I get better pictures.

Wacky Wednesday!!!

It was Wacky Wednesday at school this week! Mazzy picked out her outfit, she wanted to be the wackiest in her class. And Daddy helped her with her "wacky" hairdo! What a little girl! I just had to put these pictures on my blog! For those of you who do not know, Ryan is growing his hair out to donate to locks of love! (I know!) So I needed some practice dutch braiding and this is what I came up with. Isn't he adorable? Little did I know, he wouldn't let me take them out when I was done and he even went to the store! Of course I didn't go with him!

Easter Day!

We had a wonderful Easter! The night before I read to the kids out the Picture Bible about our Savior and why we really have Easter. Mazzy already new, but Bronson was quite fascinated by it. Easter morning we ran downstairs to find all the Easter eggs that the Easter Bunny left. Then Ryan proceeded to scare Mazzy to death and told her that if she saw the Easter Bunny he would eat her, so not to look for him. Oh Ryan!!!!

Then it was off to Morgan. I had to sing in my sister's sacrament meeting. Then my mom cooked a DELICIOUS Easter dinner and then we had a huge Easter egg hunt outside at my parents! The kids had a blast especially with the silly string! Hope everyone else had a wonderful Easter!!

Living Planet Aquarium.

Ryan won tickets to the Living Planet Aquarium. We had a great time. I know most people give it a bad rap, but we really had fun! Maybe it was because it was free, I don't know, but the kids had so much fun petting the sting rays, and seeing all there was to see.

Mazzy was looking into the shark tank, when this shark was swimming by and just lunged towards her through the glass! It scared her to death! I laughed of course.

10 Years of Marriage!!!

April 2, 1999, 10 years ago, I married my soul mate! It has been a long journey together, many ups and downs, but we always make it through! I am so lucky and blessed to have this man in my life! He still makes me laugh and every day is an adventure with him! He is always there for me and continually amazes me with his unconditional love for me! I love him so much! I thank God for bringing him into my life! I am looking forward to continually growing old with you Ryan, you complete me in every way possible! Thank you for asking me to marry you all those years ago, it has been and incredible ride!!!!

Nine years ago on April 6, 2000, I was sealed for Time and All Eternity to my Best Friend! It was one of the BEST days of my entire life! It couldn't have been more perfect! I am so blessed!!!

Shooting on the Dry Farm!

Awww, shooting! Is there anything more theraputic? It's been a while since the last time I went shooting, but it didn't take me long to catch up on my skillzzzz!!! My dad and I taught the kids about shooting and gun safety and then let them give it a try. Mazzy was actually doing pretty well by the end of it. Just a fun day up on my Grandpa's dry farm. I had to throw in the beautiful view of Morgan Valley from up on the dry farm.

A Fun Weekend in Morgan!

The kids and I went up to Morgan to visit my parents this last weekend. We ended up having such a fun time. We did a little bit of everything, I think. We took the kids over to a family friend's mink farm. My mom helps during mating season and they are VICIOUS, MEAN little buggers. They may look cute but it is a good thing they are no bigger than they are or they would probably eat the human race. So my mom caught one of the females and let the kids pet that silky fur. Also at the farm they had two little colts that had just been born a few weeks ago. Is there anything cuter????Here is Brons petting the mink. We are going back the end of April to let them see the babies after they are born.
